NSF Net-Centric conducted its seminannual meeting at the ASU SenSIP site on October 18th-19th, 2011. Opening remarks were also given by ASU Senior Vice President and Chief Research Officer Dr. Sethuraman (Panch) Panchanathan and NSF Program Managers, Dr. Rita Rodriguez and Alex Schwarzkopf. Status and future directions for the center were given by NCSS-SenSIP site Director Dr. Spanias and NCSS Director Dr. Krishna Kavi from UNT. These were followed by Project proposals and status reports as well as an open house with a student poster session. About 45 posters were showcased and 81 engineers participated from industry, academia and NSF.

Posters on Net-Centric Systems, DSP, Communications, Sensor Networks, Health Systems and Informatics, Defense Systems and, Algorithms were also on display. April 3rd 2012 NCSS IAB Meeting in Dallas – The meeting was very successful, despite tornado warnings which interrupted the meeting. SenSIP project reports for Raytheon and Lockheed Martin were presented by Dr. Turaga and Mr. Berkay. Posters for Intel, Brainstorm Technology, Sprint Communications, and NSF J-DSP were presented by SenSIP students. In the pictures below are Director Schwarzkopf (left) and Dr. Panchanathan (right).
